Remove Gel Polish Toes - No follow-up service

We currently utilize either of 3 methods to remove gel nail polish from nails; foil remover wraps, nail drill machine, acetone remover, and gel remover. Our manicurist will advise which one is best for the condition of your nails. This service is not a complete manicure and should be followed by another nail service such as pedicure, Gel X , BIAB otherwise Soak Off must be selected. Geriatric Pedicure

Our Signature Geriatric pedicure is a specialized, gentle foot care service for seniors (typically 65+) . It focuses on hygiene, safety, and health, rather than just aesthetics. It addresses common aging foot issues—thickened nails, dry skin, corns, and poor circulation—to improve comfort and prevent infections.

Signature Male Mani Pedi – Combo

Gel X/BIAB - Fingers -Refill and Rebalance (3 mm or less)

The Refill and Rebalance Process (3 mm or less) 2-3 weeks of grow out. During a standard refill, the nail technician will: Remove Nail Polish Clean and prep the nails, pushing back the cuticles. Exfoliate and blend the edge of the existing nail enhancement ( gel, etc.) to create a smooth surface. Apply new product (gel) to the gap near the cuticle area, ensuring it is as thin and level as possible. Rebalance the apex, or the highest and strongest point of the nail, to restore structural integrity and prevent breakage. File and shape the entire nail to the desired length and shape. Apply a new color or top coat. Why 3 mm is Relevant A 3mm (or less ) gap indicates that the natural nail has grown enough for the balance and stress point of the enhancement to shift, making it prone to lifting or breaking. Getting a refill at this stage is crucial for: Maintenance: It keeps the manicure looking fresh and uniform. Durability: It restores the strength and correct structure of the nail enhancement. Health: It prevents moisture from getting trapped under lifted product, which can lead to infections. If a client waits much longer than the recommended 2-3 weeks, or if the growth exceeds a certain point, a "rebalance" (which is more work than a standard fill) or even a completely new set might be necessary. We utilise products to reduce the buffing of the natural nails that would sometimes cause tenderness and thinning.

Gel X Tips - Fingers

Gel Extensions are "soft extension," meaning it artificially lengthens your nails but still feels flexible, not hard, plastic-y, and moulded from, as the name says, gel. This is an iteration of the same material that you would get during a typical gel appointment, made from a blend of acrylic monomers and oligomers. Our price is based on the use of short to medium length Gel-X Extensions added during a Signature Manicure. We recommend a refill every 3 weeks to keep your nails healthy! Please note that we utilise products to reduce the buffing of the natural nails that would sometimes cause tenderness and thinning.

Spa Manicure Pedicure – Combo

Our Spa Mani/Pedi combo usually consists of filing and shaping the free edge of nails, pushing and clipping (with a cuticle pusher and cuticle nippers) any non-living tissue (but limited to the cuticle and hangnails), treatments with various liquids, exfoliating scrub(s), detoxifying clay masque (other suitable masques), lotion/cream/oil, massage of the hands and feet, and the application of nail polish (optional) and supporting products.

Soak off

Our Soak Off utilizes a drill and an acetone base product to for removing BIAB/extensions/acrylics. The acetone dissolves the product and with gently buffing intermittently to remove product. It is essential that if you have products on your nails that we remove them this way to prevent damage to the natural nail underneath because if it is picked off, layers of the natural nail can be removed at the same time, causing the natural nail to become weak and bend easily until this part of the nail has grown out. We recommend completing the soak off with a manicure and the hydration of hands and fingers. Our Soak Off service is complimentary if the client had completed the Biab/Gel-X/Hard Gel here at The Skin Care Dispensary within the last 4 weeks of the current booking and is completing another Signature Gel Manicure/BIAB/Gel-X/Hard Gel Service here.

Our Celebrity Deluxe Spa Manicure is an anti-aging treatment which usually consists of filing and shaping the free edge of nails, pushing and clipping (with a cuticle pusher and cuticle nippers) any non-living tissue (but limited to the cuticle and hangnails), treatments with various liquids, enzyme treatment, hand peel or micro-needling, paraffin revitalizing or mineralize clay masque or other masque suitable for the skin on your hands , lotion/cream/oil, massage of the hands, and the application of nail polish (optional) and supporting products.
